Hi Maltakitty and welcome. You are in the right place if you need questions answered or just someone to talk to who is going through the same thing.

I dont know where I'd be without the help from everyone on this forum.

Iam 65 years old and have been struggling with glaucoma for about 4years ,its a bit of a roller coaster ride.

Anyway welcome to you.

Welcome! The best informative website is Glaucoma UK, the RNIB is also very good.

I have Uveitic Glaucoma, I had a Bareveldt shunt done in 2013.

Hi. Sorry to hear about your new diagnosis. It can be quite scary and difficult to get the answers you need, so can I share the bits I have found helpful? Glaucoma UK has a fantastic helpline and a wealth of information about the condition, medication, etc. if you go to glaucoma.uk/care-support/su... you will find videos to watch, which I found so informative. The RNIB is another great resource. There may be an 'Eye Clinic Liaison Officer' at your hospital. 😊

Yes. I had and still have many questions and it's all a lot to get your head around, isn't it? This forum is very helpful. I have a notebook that has all my questions for the health professionals, any info, etc, and print-offs about my eye drops. How are you coping?

I think I am coping well and then yesterday had a bit like two blinks of blurred vision and I’m terrified again! But today everything seems as normal as it ever is! It’s a bit like a vicious cycle! Think I am dealing then something incredibly small happens and I feel back to square one!!! Xx thanks for replying x
