My husband has been complaining that he is noticing his vission is very blurred after taking his glasses off. The vision is taking longer to “settle” after removing them. He just sees blurred figures for example when looking at people. He wears glases for short sightedness. When wearing glases he sees fine.He is due his appointment soon , but wanted to know if this is common at all?

I think as you get older your eyes take longer to accomodate....ie to change from close to distant vision, glasses to no glasses.

The best thing to do is to make an appointment at the opticians. It may be that his prescription needs looking at. If he has any concerns, you can call the eye secretary to make the consultant aware of what is happening, especially if he not due be soon for a while. You mention an appointment but not as to whether it is for the consultant of the opticians.
Either way, please don't leave it.
