Pilocarpine

I am already using Cosopt (twicde a day) and Monopost (once a day) but pressure still a bit too high so have been prescribed pilocarpine in addition (four times a day). Interested to hear from anyone who isusing Pilocarpine especially re side effects. Bit worried to read that it can cause retinal detachment.

I used pilocarpine but only short term after surgery, 4 times a day. Like virtually all the eye drops I have used it exacerbated my asthma but as it was only short term I put up with it. Has your specialist discussed surgical intervention rather than more drops?

Thanks for your comment. Surgery is his next suggestion if this set of drops does not work.
