As my current eye drops, which I have been on for three weeks now, have been causing lots of stinging, burning, itching etc the eye clinic has changed them from a combined preservative free formula in a bottle to Monopost preservative free in single tubes. The instructions say squeeze gently but how much is gently! My husband has been administering the previous drops for me and the bottle was hard to squeeze, so he had to press quite firmly. Worried with the new drops that I might get more than one drop in the eyes. I have bought a Thea Eyot but not sure if that will work out as expect my husband will have to continue to administer the drops for me as I worry a lot about getting them in properly. How do other people get on administering Monopost please. Also hope they do not cause the same problems as the previous drops did.

Hi, I always squeeze out a drop so it is suspended at end of the tube and then when it is over my eye give it a little tap and then the drop will go in the eye.
I would imagine that most people would throw them away with the household waste but you can drop them off at your pharmacy as there may still be some drops left in the vial.
Hello. The Thea Eyot should work well with the monopost. If you have a problem when using it. Give the helpline a call and we can talk it through with you.
Thanks. My husband managed to put the drops in for me OK lat night. I will practise with the empty tube to see how I get on with the Thea Eyot. Another question how to people dispose of the empty tubes, didn't know whether they could go in the household refuse bin or not.
Hi, I've been advised on several occasions that our eyes will only hold one drop, if more is accidentally administered any excess will spill out. It'll all feel natural soon enough. I find Monopost in the single tubes very soothing!
