My Son, 7 yrs old is having chronic Adenoiditis.

As prescribed, is it safe to use Momentasone Nasal spray 2 puffs bd for 1 month and Hs for next 2 months with 21 days of Tab Montair Lc 5 mg?

The moment i try to taper down doses before the said days, his symptoms reoccur.

That's viral or bacterial. Do you have a water damage in your home or visible mold anywhere? Peeling paint?

This is a question you should ask your doctor or a pharmacist. Adenoiditis is most commonly caused by a bacterium or virus rather than a fungus.

Thanx for the reply.

Definitely its not fungus.

I'm worried as i have to give him nasal sprays and anti histaminic continuously.

If you have concerns about prescribed medication it would be best to direct them at the doctor who is responsible for your case. An internet-based advice group cannot properly understand what is being done.

Have them removed they're probably large. My son had them removed at 4 & vast improvement. No more sore throats
