and I would like to know what, if anything, if available to test for yeast/fungal infection in the urinary system. I have drawn a complete blank as far as the NHS is concerned

Yeast/fungal infection of the urinary system is a risk if you have a severely immunocompromised immune system i.e. usually caused by a medical intervention such as a transplant, or you have a urinary catheter that has become infected. In either case, you would probably be under close medical supervision.

If you are experiencing symptoms you are unsure about the best place to ask specific questions is to your doctor. There are increasing numbers of companies elsewhere (i.e. not in the UK) in the world who are offering diagnostic tests but of course, cannot interpret the results properly for you - consequently, you are left no further forward. Offering those results into a forum such as this is only likely to increase your anxiety as other speculate about what the problem could be if any. Offering those results to your doctor is also not likely to progress things as they will more than likely have to repeat the test.

Your question is a little ambiguous so I will offer two responses:

There are NHS lab tests for the diagnosis of Candida in blood (otherwise know as Candidaemia) and where appropriate these are available via your doctor - however, Candidaemia is an infection restricted to people with a severe immune disorder, most likely detected while a patient is in hospital.

Doctors also use blood samples to detect infections elsewhere in the body (nhs.uk/conditions/blood-tes... and they can be used to detect Candida infection.

I doubt many labs in the UK will carry out these tests unless asked by a doctor, and with samples prepared by a doctor. This is mainly because labs cannot give you full information on what a particular result might mean to you - they do not know your case details and it would be quite wrong for them to do so. You need a doctor to explain the results, so if you think you have a health problem that needs such a test, the best course of action is to contact your doctor.

Or could we ask the gastroenterologist for a blood test at her next hospital appointment?

Her IgA level has risen so it looks like the original oral thrush is now in her throat/respiratory/intestines?

I’m doing the best I can to understand all this.

IgG raised so its in her body fluids as well? If yes how do we confirm that?
