Hi - yes gardening is risky and I think you need to ask your docs what the risk is for you. some people do garden wearing face masks - National Aspergillosis Centre website has a section setting out the specifications - I bought some on Amazon.
Thanks for your reply - can you tell me which face masks ypu got as I couldnt find any that were up to the rquired standard !

I was diagnosed 7years ago with Abpa I was well last year but now it has flared up again and I'm back on 30 mg prednisalone again. I'm always bad at this time of the year and my consultant and I put it down to all the leaves and plants rotting down in the garden. I always wear a mask in the garden
Like you I am on prednisalone, reducing 5 tablets to 2 over the next 6 weeks. After much searching I found a high rated facemask which should allow me to do some gardening in more safety
Produced by3M , marketed by Amazon, Aura 9322,ratedFFP2, with an outlet valve, packed of 5 £15 plus postage etc. Worth a try ?
