So sorry for the surgery, I hope they removed it all. Just let go and let God. I couldn't have surgery because the cancer is in my Lump Nods. And in the lungs. So everyone has there on road to travel I look for people to help with cancer, some times they are worse then me. So I feel better". You will have up and down days. Whole on ok. God Bless and keep you.

Jamie. I am also 53. I was diagnosed in January 2016 with Stage 3b non small cell and had surgery February 12, 2016. Started chemo and radiation in March 2016. I have no evidence of disease now. If you want to talk let me know. Be strong and courageous, I know this isn't an easy road to travel.

Hi Jamie

I had surgery on February 15 to have my left lung removed. They were not able to remove all the cancer for me because of where the tumor had grown into so I start radiation and chemo this next week. I am finally feeling better after my surgery.

Hopefully with your surgery they got all the cancer. All the best to you

I was 53 yrs old when I had surgery to remove my upper right lobe, followed up with 4 rounds of chemo. That was a little over 3 years ago, and I appreciate and cherish everyday. If you want to talk let me know. Sending you a big hug.

Good luck I had 2 lobes removed from right lung, I've been cancer free since surgery but did 4 rounds of chemo (cisplatin n doscetaxel). I have my 1 st annual pet scan 3/20/2017. So far quarterly Ct scans have been clear.

Hello. I hope you are feeling better. I was diagnosed at 54 and had surgery. You hang in there -- things will get better. Stay positive and try to walk or do some sort of exercise a couple days a week. That really helped me. I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi Janie! How are you doing. I was diagnosed February 2017 with Stage 3A NSCLC. Starting the Chemo and Radiation this 1st part of March. Have to have a Port put in. The plan is to try to shrink it down to a 2 and then go get that thing. I am praying for you.
