Long Covid

Hi, just been diagnosed with Long Covid … been off work (self employed) for 8 weeks, breathless, tremors, aches, never ending fatigue, headache. I can’t find any posts out there so I thought I would post my own. I live with my elderly mother and my son, neither of whom “get it”. Just feeling a bit lonely!

Hello bless you, I hope you’re okay just thought I’d reply as I really feel for you. I had covid last November but I also have other chronic issues, the headaches, fatigue and breathlessness “sucks” I live alone but like you my son and daughter don’t get it either so I feel your frustration! Today is a lovely day But I woke up with a wicked headache and haven’t got the energy to get myself sorted. Read your post and it brought tears. Have your Gp given you anything to relieve your symptoms? Sending hugs 🤗

How nice to speak to someone in the same boat! Nothing from doctor- taking paracetamol for the aches, they help a bit. It’s the fatigue that is the worst. To those who don’t get it is called Lazyitis!X

Zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Multi B complex and Quercitin. These should boost your fatigue. Start to get some daily sunshine, fresh air and when ready start gentle exercising at home to begin then try a gym.

Hi there.I have long covid too. Its coming up to two years. I have seen some improvement. I'm sorry you're suffering too. Most people do t get.

Hi I came across your post and wondered how you are feeling now? As I too have just been diagnosed with long Covid and it's wiped me off the floor. I have been off work for 3mths now. I also have CKD, Atrial fibulation and asthma. Since I developed covid it has played havoc with my AF. I feel for you when I read your post as I too get the same where some people don't understand. My son said why don't you take red bull for the fatigue 😂😂. Don't know about you but I'm fed up with trying to explain. It's a very debilitating invisible illness!
