Can anyone recommend a good Rheumatologist?

Hi

I’m thinking I’m going to have to go private as waiting list is extremely long.

I am not sure a rheumatologist is even where I should have been referred but my GP seems to think so.

Could any recommend a private rheumatologist? Also could you give estate prices that they charge?

Oh and I’m in Oxford, I’m willing to travel but ideally someone midlands or south wouldBe ideal

Just thought I would mention that I saw a rheumatologist privately before lockdown due to desperation and long NHS waiting list. Just one private appointment was £250 and he wasn't helpful at all. Maybe I was unlucky. Eventually saw NHS rheumatologist (not in your part of UK). They ran various tests which would have cost a fortune privately and at last, after many years of being fobbed off and being seen in various departments, I got a diagnosis for 'mystery' symptoms. Rheumatologic issues can be very difficult to diagnose and it can take a long time. Hope you get the help you need.
