Neuropathy. Due to Chemo
Sorry to read of your struggle with the effects of chemo. Maybe your body needs additional support. Chemo has the habit of knocking out good thyroid activity - and thyroid hormones are needed in every cell of the body. So it would be good to have it tested. At the same time ask for B12 - VitD - Ferritin - Folate to be tested. They are the building blocks of good health. Low B12 can become a neurological condition if missed by the GP. It needs to be well above 500 and not bumping along the bottom. VitD is a steroidal pre-hormone and again needed in every cell of the body. The site below has a chart indicating the levels required to prevent certain cancers. The lady running the site used VitD as part of her healing journey with breast cancer.
Hi
I am sorry to hear you're feeling so bad after chemo, I to had chemotherapy and since then my body has been in pain all over, gabapentin didn't work for me so they changed it to pregabalin and tramadol.
No one would say that it was the chemotherapy only when I changed doctors did my doctor say that it was probably the reason.
Can I ask if you have finished chemotherapy now, I know how you feel and my heart goes out to you.
Gentle hugs
