Yes. I had a successful trial and the permanent stimulator was placed about one month later. The stimulator was horrible and cause me even more pain and after several month it was removed. I know people who have wonderful results from them and others who have the same experience as me. My equipment did not last, either. The $600 remote messed up several times.

I currently use mine to treat severe back pain caused by scoliosis. At first I didn't think it was very helpful, but I kept returning to my Dr. for it to be reprogramed. After about the 3rd or 4th time I started to get the hang of it. Now I use it most of the time and notice the difference it makes.
