Had anyone have experience with Optokinetic training? I did it on Friday and then hours later got a migraine behind my left eye. I was going to be the to eye doctor so until Saturday evening I had to just deal with the pain. My migraine meds did help to get it taken care of. I am concerned about doing it again. I can only take my meds twice in a week so if it happens everytime I do this therapy it will be bad.

I hate auto correct it makes me sound uneducated. Has anyone had experience with Optokinetic training? I have a feeling that it was responsible for a migraine behind my left eye. And me being extra tired this weekend.
I wouldn't worry about your posts making you look uneducated I make mistakes all the time because my heads away with the fairy's most of the time, your probably the same as me you get carried away typing and forget to check if it's ok.Nobody knows who you and it's not all about how you spell things or if some sentences are a bit mumble jumble,it's about you getting to speak about how you feel or getting a bit of support. You should have seen the amount of mistakes I made in this posts I should have left them for you to see. DON'T WORRY ABOUT MISTAKES,COS WE'RE NOT, I HAVN'T GOT A CLUE ABOUT PUNCTUATION I JUST PUT IT HERE THERE AND EVERYWHERE.🤗.TAKE CARE PAANTREH

I just like my replies to be clear and easy to understand. But then almost everyone's English on here is sometimes hard for me to understand. I have had to look up words in the dictionary a few times. Still trying to learn some of the medical terms that come up a lot on here.
I keep putting my reply's in the wrong place
Hi, I haven't but I can confirm I am forever correcting my posts but I am pretty pedantic (I have to use the dictionary to correct too).
Update:
Just watched a few videos on the Optokinetic site and I can see how it might cause a headache. Did you do it with a therapist?
Yes I did. My FND has been hard to manage because I can do things feel perfectly alright then it affects me either later that day and into the following days or a day or two later. I did do 30 seconds of an exercise today at home and it didn't give me a full blown headache. I also went to my chiropractor and that wore me totally out for the rest of the day. Came home had a nap now am waiting for a more appropriate time to go to bed for the evening. I am still tired and feel the start of a headache. I hope that if I rest and only do very little of my Optokinetic exercise every other day my body will get use to it and I can very gradually increase. Optokinetic exercise is the only thing I have started that they actually want a few symptoms to occur while doing it but not too much. It wiped out my weekend totally. I had my youngest daughter do most of my project for my oldest daughters birthday which is coming up in a few weeks. I helped a little bit then went to bed. I couldn't take my headache meds until after a eye appointment in the late afternoon on Saturday. I don't feel safe driving after taking them. I considered taking it again but luckily resting most of Sunday worked.
Don't they advise do less on a good day and more on a bad day, something to do with pacing I think, easier said than done though, esp if you have a burst of energy.I think just listen to your body and if it becomes overwhelming take it back a step (reduce duration etc).
Is it dizziness you are dealing with, as I hear weighted items neck wraps etc/compression may help wuth grounding. Little cook suffers from that too, so check out his posts and Community replies, as there may be some tips and tricks to help you too.
Hope your daughter has a lovely birthday.
