Hi there,Where abouts do you live?

My Wife has FND and has just joined a five weeks support group to help FND diagnosed individuals.

It's one morning a week, 10am till 11.30.

If your local, please let me know and I'll pass you the details.

The course is on a Tuesday.

Wishing you all the very best.

Tony and Kim 🙏🙏

Hi Littlecook,

It might be worth asking your GP if they know of a local support group for people in your situation even if it is not specifically for people who have been diagnosed with FND. Social prescribing models seem to suggest that reducing isolation is good for our long term health, especially for people who have lost their jobs as a result of various conditions. There are also support groups for people with conditions that result in poor balance/motion sensation symptoms such as the Life on The Level group which hosts on line events fairly regularly and you can ask questions in advance of their meetings so they may be able to let you know if there are any in person meetings in your area :)

You deserve it too. Life on the Level are good and they have experts speakers at each meeting.

Hi Littlecook,

I hope you're OK. I'm so sorry you're struggling.

Are you on Facebook? There is an FND support group on Facebook that you might find helpful or that can point you in the direction of further support. FND Action also have a Facebook page that might have some resources.

I hope you find something that suits your needs. Please keep reaching out, you'll get there. X

Has the support from the hospice finished then? Any sign of an appointment at the Barberry ? You do so need something to look forward to. Best wishes.

Yes the service I was getting from the hospice was only temporary but I've tried to contact the barberry centre but no reply. Hope you are keeping well.
