what a nightmare🤯I have spent 3 hours today trying to sort out my PIP review conversation with Capita. My assessor after 7 mins dropped the call. I tried to get them back, not a chance. Rang their helpline who said they would get the assessor to call me back, nothing . I rang the helpline only to be told the call had gone back into the appointment booking system as I was too late ??!!?? I rang to complain put all my concerns and phone call screen shots into an email and sent it over. Called DWP explained the situation and they said my PIP would be paid until the next date of the assessment. PHEW. Hope to get another assessment in the next couple of weeks. Yet again system failures at our expense. 😞

PIP telephone call disaster
I've said it before and no doubt I'll say it again, the NHS could do worse than sue the DWP and their outsourced agencies (ATOS, Capita etc) for all the harm they cause via PIP. I hope they pull their fingers out and it doesn't count against you that you were able to follow up with it as you had to, given all their errors. Getting benefits for FND is hard enough since, apparently, they can cause an 'exquisite barrier to recovery' although how they can prove that is one of the many things that baffles me about the research into FND.
I'm waiting for all my forms to come for pip but as I understand the questions are the same as if you are going for a work capability assessment and I can do things for my self its different problems that are affecting me from stroke like symptoms to dizziness that stops me working.
