FND for a year. Does anyone have personality changes? Angry, sad, giggly all within an hour?

I am NOT an angry person at all and have recently been very rude and short with my husband and kids.

Hi MLangador,

Have you been assessed for migraine? Mood swings like those you describe are fairly common amongst people with migraine. Even if you haven't been assessed for migraine it's well worth talking with your primary care provider or neurologist about your mood swings, especially if you are on any medications which may contribute towards them. If you can, take your husband with you to the consultation so he can gain an understanding of how best to support you when this happens.

Mood swings mean I have a siezure coming. It may be a new symptom or something else in your case. Best to rule out meds with your doctor. Track the mood swings to see if there are other symptoms. Best wishes!

Yes! My husband and son have both told me I have a shorter fuse since I was diagnosed with FND. Also, I've had a migraine 24/7 since 2013 and I started having seizures in November, so I agree with both of the previous posts. Good luck!
