Hey, first day using this website and seeing people having similar symptoms makes me feel not alone. Here are my symptoms I wanted to share them: tingling, prickling, feeling faint, gait walking, muscle spasms, muscle weakness, fatigue, loss of appetite, burning, head pressure and pressure in ears, brain fog.

panda1238,

I have the majority of your symptoms too along with others. Have you been suffering for long? I hope you have a good neurologist and supportive family and friends.

You are definitely not alone! Although I have been a member for a short while, I have found this group to be informative and compassionate.

Do you use any therapies? I have PT twice a week, OT once a week, Speech twice a week, and psychotherapy twice a month. From all that, you can tell Therapy is my full time job!😊

I wish you a good day and you find some positives to focus on.

Hey, thanks for replying. I have a good neurologist and supportive friends and love these supportive websites. I am still currently trying to call and find a cbt therapist.

I hope you find a good one soon. For me, having a psychologist to speak with helps me cope. It also assists me with communication and expectations of family and close friends.

You are not alone for sure. I tried CBT and it didnt work for me. My brain even though I change my though pattern still wont let go of these insane symptoms. Hope you are luckier than I am with it and it works for you.

Hey there! I totally relate to what you're going through. How are you all working? My biggest concern is being able to support myself, and I'm nervous to work because of the seizures that come from this. What is you all's best advice to return to the workforce?

I would say, Have a friend or coworker know about the seizures, so they can know and be ready. Good luck!!

Hi sounds like your stress levels are too high and raising your adrenaline too much along with everything else going on?

`Life is not a sprint, it is a marathon' Allow time for your brain to process and understand all those overloading signals and the symptoms will be more manageable. Pacing daily routines is the best course of action. You might find breathing exercises (singing) or guided audio meditation helpful as well?

CBT can be useful for some FND Sufferers, as the Therapist tries to identify areas of unhelpful mental processes - but their main objective is to set goals to challenge those unhelpful thoughts. Be careful that those goals are mutually agreed to be achievable, else they end up being quite soul destroying when the goals are not completed.

Look for the calm in the Storm!
