I've posted a question similar to this previously, but I wish to know a bit more.
My wife, since having FND, Eoe and Fibromyalgia, has become very hypersensitive to medication, and even when taking Iron tablets, this initial taking of them, once in her system, can cause tremors.
Obviously, we're concerned about how both vaccines will have an effect on her, especially in relation to her Eoe, which is a severe autoimmune disease of the esophagus, and can cause it to narrow if she eats anything she's allergic to, which causes difficulty in swallowing and breathing.
Anyone here had both vaccines and how has your system reacted to it?
We would appreciate any feedback.
Thank you all and stay safe and well.
Warmest wishes.

Hiya, I haven't had the vaccine but have been offered it because of my job.
I've refused for now as I am very hesitant about it. Like your wife, I have FND and also autoimmune issues. In the last year I have had a lot of Mast Cell problems as reactions to certain medications and had to stop my immunosuppressant treatment because of this. Am also waiting for investigation into a disrupted heart rhythm.
Bit controversial I know but I am wondering if my (FND) neurological issues started after a Pneumonia jab 3 years ago. I am personally just not comfy taking such a new therapy right now.
Not much help but just wanted to say that I can understand your hesitancy. M
Hi Tony and Kim, Couldn't pass by your post without acknowledging it. I have FND and other serious issues and haven't been offered by vaccinations yet, but I will be taking them. I personally just feel that it's too much of a chance not to. Covid transmutations out there and me at home , mostly in my bed, something has to change. If that means having the vaccine I'm going to take it. I will keep you posted okay guys? Good luck and much love .🙂
Hi,I have FND, CFS and permanent migraine, and have reacted badly to a lot of medications over the years. I had 1st Pfizer jab 2 weeks ago and had no reaction at all. Well my arm hurt a bit for a few days, but nothing else.
I understand why you would be cautious and concerned, and I think because we are all individuals it is impossible to predict how one of us will react based on another. However, I weighed up the high likelihood of dying or being damaged long term by Covid-19 (although I have been shielding for nearly a year, when schools are open my son has to go, so can't avoid all risk of getting it) against the fact that my specialist, 2 GP friends, and my Matron Midwife sister all said almost no one has reacted badly to the vaccine, and decided to go for it. That was my personal choice. Sadly I think it may be case of judging which you are more afraid. Good luck! Hope you're as lucky as I was. Psychologically feel much better for having it!
