Heart or neurological issue

My husband called 999 in the early hours, having found me on the floor of the bathroom at 02:14. I was unconscious and unresponsive for between 2-3 minutes. Paramedics attended and whilst heart rate was erratic, it wasn't a heart attack, BP normal, blood sugar's fine, temp 36.8

Is this an FND symptom? Called GP and he is contacting cardiac consultant to discuss fitting ILR to monitor heart issue.

Currently coping very badly with GERD πŸ™„

Why can't we just be "in good health"

Oh Wow... Glad you are still here. That must have been very scary! I believe it is a symptom. I also believe they rule out Parkinson's and multiple sclerosis and epilepsy before a formal diagnosis as both of these have similar symptoms..

It is classed as functional as they cannot find a correct diagnosis, hence you being pushed from pillar to post. You clearly need an ILR if you are passing out!Good luck Keep Going..one day at a time. X

Thank you Brandibell - why is it us two that are medical mysteries? I'm still getting my head around what happened to be honest. God knows how long this will go on for this time....it was 10th May 2019 when I initially went to the walk in centre with my heart beating like a snare drum 😱

Wow, a year like me, Infact the same day as well.10th May 2019 blue lighted to RPH 5:30pm.

I have had my cardiologist on the phone today as I emailed him via his secretary, no to be precise I blasted him. 😠He has noted that the notes between the two hospitals are confusing and wants to see me in person. As he can't get to grips that I cannot tolerate tablets.. and why my Heart just drops from high to low etc with No inbetween...

Hang in there... we have got this now.. they will find a solution..🀞if not I believe the hospital in Spain is very good and we can both get a pacemaker and a tan whilst there... hahaπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜ŽπŸ€—

Hope ur ok ni well u no wat i mean r we ever ok, iv had similar experiences on the verge of passing out but iv never passed out thank god. Iv had all sorts of heart tests sent me home with the wee decice to keep track of my heart for a few days but nothing ever found. Was told its a symptom of FND. I wish some1 could wave a magic wand sometimes an make it go away, id even settle for something to ease the symptoms. Its soo scary sometimes especially when the people who we think can help havnt a clue wats goin on. Ur in my prayers and thank god for our other halfs xx

If your heart comes back as fine, look into MCAS/histamine intolerance (as GERD & syncope are symptoms, along with a host of neurological symptoms) and POTS syndrome. You would need a functional medicine doctor or someone who specializes in these conditions for testing. Best of luck
