Has anyone got fnd and pots syndrome?

I've been diagnosed with pots and my neurologists said that she thinks I have fnd. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this or if they know if pots is co-morbid with fnd?

I have a-typical POTS alongside a rare neurological condition which comes with migraine as a side order. I do not have FND though so can't really answer your question. What's the basis for your neurologist thinking you have FND?

I have siezures which are non epileptic, left leg, left arm weakness with tremors. So before pots diagnosis she said fnd, siezures is not usually a symptom of pots so she will probably say fnd I suppose

I have POTS. I also have a very rare neuromuscular disorder called a channelopathy. I was initially misdiagnosed as having FND because the doctors did not understand all my symptoms. Usually with POTS, there is an underlying organic disorder that coexists or causes It. FND is not considered to be an organic disorder by most doctors . You may need to keep searching to find the cause of your symptoms if you believe there is something else going on.

Non epileptic seizures are common for people with migraine and if there isn't an association between migraine and POTS, I'm an octopus - which I'm not.

Whoever she is might need to ask what the gold standard is for the FND dx is before she tells you you're having a Conversion Disorder. You might also want to ask her why Hon Prof Stone advises doctors to not believe the intel from the physical records when making the FND dx. You might also want to ask her if she's read the "function of 'functional'" paper in the BMJ.

POTS is strongly connected to Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I was originally diagnosed with FND with non epileptic seizures. Knew this was off, kept digging and found right doctors. HEDS/POTS much more appropriate diagnosis.
