FND and immunity

Hi

Has anyone else found that their immunity is bad during an attack? Since November I have had 3 chest infections, 2 bouts of sinusitis and now tonsillitis. On top of everything else it’s making me feel really poo and I just can’t seem to get well. Not sure if it’s connected or just really bad timing.

Hi, I too have been struggling with poor immunity, 7 hospital admissions, 3 pneumonia's since September. Am considering asking to s see an immunologist, as I end up back in hospital every couple of weeks. I also have brittle asthma which is not helping. If be interested if you have any suggestions.

I asked my doctor if the two were connected... got told “ I don’t know anything about FND but I don’t think so” really helpful!! I’ve always had low immunity but seems particularly bad when having an attack. If you do see an immunologist please let me know what you find out

I have really brittle asthma and a horrendous immune system. I spend so much time in hospital. They have decided that my fnd was bought was brought on by an asthma attack that put me in itu. Dr Edwards agrees its not physiological aswell. Hope you get some help x

I have on going infections. When I have lack of sleep from FND, I tend to be more ill.

I'm the same i had flu longer and other infections and I have 2 stay away from people with colds coldsores as it takes me months 2 recover
