My tiny struggle with a misbehavin' heart continues. I still stand with all of you. We keep trying together.
I did manage one thing today. I joined the Meetup.com site and then joined a group on that site known as "Seattle Health Innovators."
I sent a message to an event coordinator for that group identifying myself as a patient of unexplained symptoms and briefly describing why this diagnosis might be a topic for a future Meetup event.
The group collaborates on ways to help medicine move forward in various areas to improve healthcare. I have offered to make a presentation on how this diagnosis makes an impairment on our lives and that of families and causes us to slip through the cracks untreated and be left on our own to cope.
The person I sent the message to had expressed an interest in her profile in medicine being supported by science and fact.
We all know how we feel about the importance of that statement.
Difficult to write today. Hope this made sense.
