Dental work while on chemo.

I havent had any dental problems for years,halfway through chemo and i am having trouble with a top molar.I thought i had better check with oncology before i get work done,luckily as the doctor advised against any dental work while my immunity is low.

So it appears that i will have to put up with toothache for a few more months.

Another question i had for my oncology team,is it ok to still get my annual flu shot while on chemo? Yes it is,as the flu germs are 'dead' and cant cause an infection.
