PSADT during BAT

Can it be calculated? PSA nadir to nadir or take PSA measurements during the same environment (e.g. PSA1 three days after a high T pulse and PSA2 three days after a high T pulse of the same amplitude).

Does it make sense to look at both? (nadirs and perhaps middle of high T pulse)

PSADT:

PSA doubling time = ln (2) / PSA Slope

PSA Slope = (ln (PSA level 2) – ln (PSA level 1)) / Time (no. of months)

PSA velocity:

Velocity = (PSA level 2 – PSA level 1) / Time (no. of months)

I have stopped calculating my PSADT after starting taking Bicalutamide. The drug creates a compressed spring - set free effect that isn't indicative of anything underlying. If you have a number of EXACT time repetitive BAT cycles you could try a Fourier transform and look for the DC and very low frequency component. But, you will need many cycles as lead-in and out compensation should be applied on your time series.
