bladder stones

When my urologist did my biopsy he also removed bladder stones by breaking them in pieces and retrieving them thru my supra pubic catheter portal. Unfortunately all of them could not be be retrieved and they moved down my urethra to the point where the enlarged prostate pinched off urine flow. They seem to be imbedded there and are a constant source of infection. I can't get an accurate PSA test until they are gone. Any suggestions on how to dissolve them?

agnut,

Here is an informational article on kidney stones-types, treatment, and prevention.... It sounds like a urethroscopy needs done , and they can remove the stone or break it up.

Thanks for the info. Im trying to dissolve them with a weak solution of DMSO. Very reduced discomfort in two days of trying it. Time will tell.
