In the continuing battle to find compounds against diseases, Scientists at Scripps Research utilize a platform to find compounds that can get T cells back into the fight after being "exhausted". After screening 12,000 compounds, they found 19 that could get them back in the fight at moderate doses--

You do!!! In any of your scientific wanderings, have you found anything on the interaction of the immune system with testosterone suppression? I'm hoping that lack of T, in addition to slowing progression, makes the cancer less able to protect itself from T cells, but have no scientific basis for thinking such thoughts.

Well, I found this article abstract , but I can tell you that my WBC count has been down a bit while on Lupron and Zytiga and Prednisione.....Still WNL but less....

As they say in the abstract, the role of testosterone in immunity is not fully understood...

Take care, Tom with a Capital T.....or do you say Big T....

They did ID one compound and it is available-from the article--see below:

One of these compounds, ingenol mebutate, is a plant-derived molecule that is already used in gel form (Picato) to treat actinic keratosis, a pre-cancerous skin condition.

About Picato gel:

Now, here is some light reading on natural medicine products from NCI--

There is real progress and more coming... for me, I believe that unleashing the full power of our immune systems is the answer... that and a multi drug cocktail attack...
