The following drug cost research (see second link below) was posted over at the CLLsupport website today. (Hat tip to Admin Jm854 for posting it.) It was done by the British healthcare company Medbelle:
" . . .As the first digital hospital, we are rebuilding the healthcare experience from scratch to provide you with the outstanding level of patient care we would love to experience ourselves.
With our technology, we revolutionise the way patients interact with the healthcare system by providing a highly personal experience from start to finish. With Medbelle, you can enjoy a smooth, pleasant journey whilst allowing your doctors and surgeons to focus on providing you with outstanding medical and surgical care."

Their 2019 Medicine Cost Index is for 50 countries around the world. The costs were researched for just the "13 prevalent medications", but it clearly reveals the extravagant charges patients in the USA pay for most of their pharmaceutical drugs. BTW, on the comparative chart at the top, red is for prices above the global median and green below the median. USA is shaded red across the board. Average for all 13 branded drug types is 421+% above the global median - and while none of the drugs specific to our cancer treatments are listed, the cost disparity can obviously be inferred.

As is often said, "We here in the US have the very best health care money can buy!" . . . For sure! I hear Thailand is a very friendly and beautiful country with outstanding (and mostly healthy) food. Something to think about.
