Will undated script for blood work be accepted

My RO at MDA wants me to get tested for PSA and T prior to our teleconference on Tuesday. Problem is he didn’t get a script faxed to the local hospital where I get my bloodwork done. I do have a script from my MO at MDA for PSA and T written a year ago. It has no date on it. Will this work?

Possibly not as is... they may not check the date...you might get it...

Legally, you can go to the hospital and they can contact the MD office and get it authorized...

The other option I will not address....LOL...

Sounds like you are a cheater. Why cheat? If you admit to wanting to cheat, why would anyone believe you are real?

Just have the MO call in a new script! At LabCorp , standing scripts ( which you use for recurrent blood tests ) must be renewed after six months. But yours is not a standing script .

They can call the Doc.

Turns out the undated script was just fine. The folks here immediately recognized it as an “open order”, good whenever I need to use it. As a back-up I was able to contact my PCP’s office who faxed in a script to this lab location but it wasn’t needed.

My RO’s staff called to inform met that a doctors order is no longer required for PSA and Testosterone blood tests. Anybody else hear about this?
