I new to prostate cancer

I am 68 years young have 3x3 prostate cancer. 3 different urologist told me the same thing.  Active Surveillance for 1 yr. I am in theprocess of fighting this with strict diet an herbs. Has anyone tried this approach?

I would probably go for active surveillance if my Gleason score was 3 + 3. However, mine was 3+3 =6 and 4+3 =7.

At age 68 active surveillance sounds about right. I turned vegetarian after being diagnosed and use a lot of herbs and supplements. As I have said before on this list with all of the growth hormones being used in raising domestic animals eating meats and poultry  can't be good for a hormone fed cancer. I do eat fish if that helps make the transition.
