Seems Admin over at APC took issue with the information in the original post Re: Malecare. (All taken directly from their tax filings available at their website?) Seems he has seen to it that the poster has been sanctioned on this site as well. ( An HU forum NOT even administered by him??)

As the saying goes, "He who makes the rules, Rules." Freedom of speech as Admin at HU defines it. Seems the same sort of thing is going on all social media sites these days. Manufacturing Consent just as Orwell predicted and Chomsky described it in action. Edward Bernays is smiling down on our Brave New World Order.

Wow. I was interested in that post too as I begin to allocate for my year-end giving. I appreciated the information in the original post. Trying to support more cancer research and prostate cancer charities/support groups.

I did not realize Daryl had administrative jurisdiction on this forum (Fight Prostate Cancer). Even so, members should not be sanctioned for posting factual information (scientific or otherwise) and civil discourse. The fact that we are "monitored" at all is a little disturbing. These forums are self-selecting - we are adults with the common goal of learning and sharing about PCa. If anybody doesn't want to read a post, they don't have to. If anybody makes it nasty and personal, we can just ignore him/her.

Here's hoping we can all get along and have unsanctioned access to information with full transparency of process.

Happy holidays.

PS As a personal note, I spent a considerable amount of time preparing my reply expanding on the information and suggestions made in the original post - and in sharing my rewarding personal experience in a hospital-affiliated congregate housing facility that sounded similar to one provided by one of the charities mentioned in a reply by another member. Several other posters also shared their opinions and experiences. Removing the post also removed those resources from the FPC community. That loss is one that seems completely out of line with the stated goals of this forum and HU in general. Such actions discourage people like me from wanting to take the time to prepare informative posts/replies to share with OUR community. (After all, WE the PATIENTS are the ones the forums are supposed to be for and WE are also the ones who need the resources and shared experiences that the forum can provide. I remind HU of what you say at your own website:

"We connect people with the same health conditions, where they can share experiences and get answers to questions about their chronic conditions and wellbeing needs - empowering people with knowledge for enhanced self-care." (emphasis added)

Your actions in this instance seem to be in direct conflict with that stated goal. Think about it HU . . . In the meantime, Be Well - Captain K9

Good analysis as always cujoe. In this era of fake new and biased websites HU has previously provided what I thought were facts from direct sources. Very disturbing. The post was not negative but factual. If you or anyone can provide the original post, please message me or Lulu700 has my info.

I am on a self-imposed extended sanction at APC and am (unfairly, in my estimation) prevented from initiating messaging with any members registered at APC (and maybe anywhere on HU). Thus is the unsupervised autonomous power that single person administration has over HU forums far and wide. I do not have a copy of what I posted in any of my replies to the original post. (altho' I wish I did, as they represented considerable time on my part.) If you initiate a message to me with a specific request, I'll do my best to get it to you. In the meantime, make sure you have your laptop camera taped over . . . Big Bro' may be watching you. Be Well - Captn K9

Correct. We collectively empower with knowledge so we can make decisions. That post, and my additional post on ACS were facts about those groups. I came here to learn from others’ knowledge and experiences to make decisions about my own prostate cancer life and to share knowledge where I had some.

To the gentle person that deleted a benign post, can you please repost? Thanks!!!

Well, I am back after a days suspension and I guess they claim violation of part 6 of Terms of use--the only part I can figure is the following:

•be threatening, abuse or invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety;

I appreciate what you stated... I am a great asset to HU and an exceptional human being...All of my brothers on these forums that I relate to are just like me--great assets and exceptional humans... While HU does not value my presence, my brothers do and that makes all the difference in the world to me... Say hello to Sharnoosh from Margaret and I... Much love...Staying low...

Amen and to you too ❤️

Very disturbing. Immediately raises a red flag. Was the post on the charities expenses too close to home?

Hi Nal,

There is no way I can give up my status here...The Admin over there never wanted me there...He prefers the Tall One, who could not ID a urinary tract infection on one post...when I pointed out that only tango65 had it right do you think that resulted in an invitation back??..No !!. He prefers a patient advocate to a medical professional...Who gets punished by taking that route.??..not me.. HU is all good with it as well... So be it....

I can not even get an answer from HU whether I would be sanctioned if I even mention that Organization that the Admin works for in a post with factual information... Now that is pretty twisted...

We are both in the Book of Life and that is all that really counts !!!

Shalom, brother
