I too feel like this , it's not a constant thing this happens when I have a flare up, but also I have plantar fasciitis , also the ligament on the inside of both my ankles is ruptured so I put a lot down to those two problems . I hope you get yours sorted .

I have had this for years. Feels like stones in my shoes, and my feet also burn. I have seen a Podiatrist, and had X-Rays and ultrasound. Nothing could be seen, so I was discharged, being told he could only treat a problem if he could see what is wrong :(

yes the rheumatologist said this to me after an xray, he said no signs of artheritis so must be fibro and discharged me ::(

Hi there.... cant sleep haven't gone bed yet, up early for hosp apt in morning but to answer your question I too have strange but horrible sensation like small stones in my shoes, I am forever trying to get them out which is quite annoying since there is nothing there, it must be a fibro thing, lets see how many people get to answer...........

Could be Morton's neuroma trapped nerves between toes it was diagnosed by ultrasound ,

Push your GP for appointment with foot clinic I have trapped plantar nerve in foot as well makes walking fun!!!

I had plantar fascia and it took a year to fade away, hasn't gone properly. I had to strap my foot up so that it was held in the flex position and unable to stretch and point. If you take a look at About.com/walking you can find a link there for more information.

As for the pebble effect, boy how that is much worse when you actually walk along a stony path! And trying to get out of the sea across a stony beach!!!! Ow, ow, ow, ow ,ow.

I have tried those gel innersoles and they help. but I find that I need loose footwear now because of fibro so, by the time you've added innersoles you need a larger size!

Hope this helps, even though it won't cure x

Almost every day. I've been diagnosed with CRPS. Not a whole lot has helped. Vicodin helps for short periods of time. Lyrica is supposed to help a lot, but I have to space the pills apart because they make me loopy. Good luck! I hope you get more help than I have.
