Annoyed !!!!

well its been wot nearly 2 weeks since I wrote my doctor a letter n not even rung me or said come n see me I've been crying every night in pain apart from punching my legs my knees n hips av been excruciating n i feel like he's not ased oat all , really depressed n had enough i just want a life x

I am very surprised you have had no answer .... Very strange ... Is it possible to see another GP or even change to another surgery near you ... When you are In pain you need a good GP

Please don't suffer waiting in vain for an answer make an appointment with another GP or change surgeries

Donna ring the surgery and make sure he received your letter, if he has then be firm and ask for a telephone appointment with him if you can't get there. If your surgery is as efficient as mine then he may never have received it

Alot of Doctors see fibro patients as annoying and time wasters. After all its just in our heads. try hot baths before you go to bed at nights , make water as hot as you cant stand it.

You may have noticed from many of my comments i have no faith in Doctors. I understand it takes time to diagnose us but 3+ years of wondering if you are dying has left me with anxiety issues now.

I feel for you and hope you find a good Doctor.

Hi Donna. I had the same problemtwo weeks ago, but after ringing the pain clinic things have change big time, now my GP did me a letter which is fantastic couldnt ask for more! If you go to the pain clinic ring them and tell them, speak to your pain Doc`s secretary and see if she can help? Mine did!

Ive just changed surgeries because I wasn't happy with my gp, she would not support my claim for dla even though I clearly have mobility and care needs. My new doctor has just told me that pain meds make the pain worse and to stop them and then my fibro will just go. As if !!!

I have obviously jumped out of the frying pan into the fire. Where do I go next? Has anyone got any ideas ? Im seriously fed up and still in an awful lot of pain.

Omfg that's aweful , I think coz I feel like im moaning all the time that's how other ppl see me im really scared bout goin to see him x try tens machine on yr leg muscles n I have red hot baths at night but I always end up punching my legs at night n hips x horrible isn't it xx

All of yous if you go to the pain clinic air your concerns with them about DLA claims. They are very supportive there and will do their up most to help x
