I have now been advised to go down the diability route as this maywell help me with sickness targets etc and may also benifit from this is mnay other ways as my fibro is currently getting worse.
The trouble is I have no idea where to start!
my occ health have advised my manager that she would recognise this as a disability due to its chronic nature and gave me some contact points to go away and find info!
please could anyone help me where to start and how to have my fibro diagnosed as a disability and where else to get support from and help with any benifits????

It's not a case of getting your Fibro diagnosed as a disability. If you have a physical or mental impairment and the impairment has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on your ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities, then it counts as a disability for the purposes of the Equality Act.
