I am trying to research how many points are required to make it now into the ESA Support Group as opposed to the WRAG.

I'm trying to get this information before Friday when I have a meeting with my local MP and want to have this information to hand to give him.

Many thanks if you can help. Colleen

15 points was the Incap number and also the DLA, take plenty of evidence with you, there are many accounts around of what ATOS have done to claimants. Take Emma's advice and take a look at the benefits and work site I will also see if I can verify the 15 points.

Good luck for Friday take care and God bless Bob

I was told I needed 15 points so I guess this is what it is. i should have got 15 on the first question alone but was given nil. When Welfare Rights totted up all the points I would get it was over 100. ATOS said none!!!! Wish you luck.

I think the 15 points are to get into the wrag group you need more for the support group, please check , good luck with yr MP . Hilly xx

I was advised by someone who used to work for DWP that to get into WRAG group you need 15 points total, but to get into support group then you must have 15 points in one category, regardless of what you score in any other catagory. I don't know how true this information is, but would perhaps explain why so few get into support group

Hi, well all quite confusing, I received the Statement of Reasons and was awarded three seperate points of six which although I know we can get a bit confused I believe adds upto 18 points. However in the summary it states I have 15 points!! Also they have only taken into consideration the clinical depression. They have made no mention whatsoever about the Fibromyalgia or other problems I have, it really does begger belief. May I say Emma that the fibroaction.org have been very helpful and sent me over some useful information which my advocate (who is a friend) is going through for me as I seem to have lost the will to live lol. Many thanks Bob for your offer and any further information you can supply will be most welcome indeed. Thankyou peeps for being a wonderful bunch. xxx oh and ps. Ozzygirl how do you get in touch with Welfare Rights, they might be helpful to me it would certainly be interesting to know what points they would come up with for me. xx

Oh lord alone only knows I was told by the advisor "Trevor" that you can ONLY go on support group if your are dying or having chemotherapy or in hospital. Im not prepared to go that far lol so so confused because I have been in the support group for several years and my health has not improved but deteriorated.
