well do I put the xmas tree up on the 1st or not? Last year we had just moved into a flat in Romsley near Halesowen, lovely village and people too. the flat was in a right mess it was artex city so every room had to be re-plastered so come xmas day we had no tree or nothing and although it was funny eating our dinner on deck chairs and our lamp had a little tinsel on it well it didn't feel much like xmas, so this year I thought I would make the effort and get into the xmas spirit so have done all my presents and wrapped them all done the cards ready to post just thinking do I put the tree up this weekend as it is 1st December saturday, what you reckon is it too early? who else puts there tree up the 1st? Oh and this year we have a bed lol slept on a matress from november last year till february and I wandered why I hurt so much little did I know i had fibro and arthritis lol got to laugh else you would cry!!!!

Usually make it a family affair with daughters & grandson on the first Sunday in Dec but this year eldest's new boyfriend is coming for first visit so don't want to scare him too much put it off to the following Sunday
My tree goes up 30th November every year without fail. I like to bring the 1st in with the tree already up. Even my oldest ones do it, 30th. And it comes down 2nd January. That is long enough for me. But I get abit maudling as it all looks so bare afterwards. xxxxx
