Adult pain management hospital

I'm going to a adult pain management at the local hospital,I've never been before,what happens when I get they,I'm paniacing don't know what they do xxx

I have beeb referred to a Pain Management Programe at a local hospital. I was told I would go twice weekly for 5 weeks. I was referred on from my appointment at the Pain Clinic & the Doctor there told me I was in pain because of my depression

I dont know if that meant he did'nt believe me or what? He went on lecturing me about how I can help fight my pain througj exercise. I am willing to give it a try but some days I can barely move out of bed or the house never mind exercise while feeling this way. However I feel we do have to go along with what they send us for or before we know it they will accuse us of not trying to help ourselves when they are trying to help us.

I've been waiting on my appointment date for the Programe since June. I will blog about it if & when it comes.

Try not to worry. I dont imagine it will be too bad.

Some pain management clinic run course on managing pain ... Some actually help relieve it... I went to my local pain management clinic in tears as had been there before and got treated like a lying idiot... This time I saw a man and he said I was a perfect case for trigger point injection for pain relief as with my fibro it affects my shoulder and neck muscles awfully.. I have them injected every three months .... Ahhh the relief... With these I can at least function to some degree without I am in bed three days out of 7 seized up with migraine type headache from shoulder and neck tension
