Lightening Treatment

Has anyone heard of Lightening Treatment?, I have heard it mentioned re ME but someone told me of a person who had been on the course who had Fibro and it had been helpful.

HI Dayjac ~ yes I have been researching it as Ive always felt the mind body connection... but i havent been on the course.. its pretty expensive...but seems to have a lot of research, success stories etc... A leading osteopath developed it , Phil Parker and seemingly from the 1990's and yet its only this past year that I heard of it... here is some more info from wikipedia..

I have been on the Lightning Course for M.E. but it didn't help me at all. If you have psychological symptoms then I think it would help but not for getting rid of just physical symptoms. Maybe help you cope with stuff - again psychological side of things. Hope this helps.

I read the title of this totally wrong, and took it as lightening as in thunder storm, and my first thought was I should have stood out in the storm we had here last night. So for that I apologise. I am pretty messed up at the moment, so anything I read is just not making sense. Plus I have terrific earache because of the menieres so I have to stay sitting down or I fall over. This does not help the fibro as the pain makes me want to stand again. But as soon as I feel better I will Google it ans try to understand it better so I can better relete to your topic, sorry about that xxxxx Lin

my mum paid a fortune for this. she went with a very open mind and a desparate body. she has ME and multi chemical sensitivitiy. she came home full of it. one month later she was so ill she had a massive flare up of her multi chemical sensitivity and came crashing down to earth with a bump and the ME kicked back in.

when she got in touch with the lightening process that was supposed to be so suportive they just told her it was because she hadnt embraced it with her heart and soul and she wasnt trying hard enough!.

believe me she had tried, despite my sis and i being very wary, she was certain it was the best thing since sliced bread [we didnt tell her we didnt believe a word of it, it would have been like telling my 6 year old santa was a lie]. she was like a born again religious women when she came back. but its all just smoke and mirrors. its basically telling you to be possitive and stop beiliveing you are ill and you will see the light and be cured.

so sorry to offend anyone who has been and who has had benifites from it but as far as they are conserned its all in our heads and we just have to see life differently and we can heal ourselves. i for one know its not in my head. my heads so fogged sometimes i forget i cant do anything until its too late. so i know its real and i dont need to spend a fortune being told it all in my head.
