yes i filled it in and got straight in to the 'support into work group'. not happy. no assessment or doctors appointment. i even get the top rate of dla for morbility and middle for care.... but automatically got put on the benefit and had a bit added on to take it up to the original incapacity ben i was on the month before. not happy. so i have appealed. no idea what will happen. bit scared. stressing me out of course but will have to endure. they have taken all our hope away.

They certainly have I feel so awful - bad enough just getting through the days and nights trying to make the best of a horrible condition - let alone having to be assessed and reassessed all the time - so many years I have just kept on going but now feel like this is going to be the worse thing of all - having lost one job because of illness and about to be put back on the work force - knowing that I am just not capable of holding a job down - not knowing from one day to the other how you are going to be and having constant pain and fatigue is enough to deal with.Good luck with your appeal - will keep you all posted with my next bit of news

Hello , I sent in my forms ESA, on 25th of june, so thats four weeks now without a word, does anyone know how long it takes and whether we should have a letter or something, saying they have received it.?, I too will probably be sent for assessment, and i am dreading it the waiting is making me so anxious, its like your life is in their hands, bit like god, I am so ill at the moment, pain and terror I would call it, they may as well lock us in the tower and torture us all, then throw away the key. A bit dramatic i admit, but, thats what they are doing torturing already tortured souls. who would they turn to if they got ill? well thats not an issue for the rich is it?, 2012, more like medieval times, who's going to be my Robin Hood, not cameron he's already made his mind up about the 'hoodies',maybe one of his kids will turn out to be one, now THAT would be funny.

I am still waiting to hear, and its been 13 weeks, I have called and was promised a call back by 5pm, a week ago.

Of course they didn't call, they never do.

There is nothing at all on my notes, the job centre did not even know I was being assessed.

My husband was only assessed once 3 years ago, and never been asked back, even though he is in the work group!

I truly think the entire thing is just a shambles. Caz

How terrible to hear everyone seems to be having this awful treatment - I just hope someone in the know understands what this is doing to honest decent people - if they could only feel the pain we have to live with day and night they would totally understand we are ill and disabled.

i had one assessment in July last year when they thought i had psoriatic arthritis, i was put in the WRAG, In November i filled in another form saying it had been re diagnosed as fibro and got a letter in Feb from DWP saying due to a change of information you supplied you will carry on before, come April my 365 contribution based ESA was up and transferred straight into the income based ESA for however long i ill or come off it myself, Not heard anything from Atos regarding any points or decision and didn't want to rock the boat so to speak as felt lucky didn't have to go for another medical ,, good luck x

Yes, I was migrated from IB into the ESA Support Group without any meetings/assessment. There's a huge backlog with ATOS, so it can take up to around 15 weeks before you hear from them.
