Hi Diddle I am just like you I have been on the net since 2.45 I saw the sunrise come to think of it I watched it set while in bed last night. I have run down the battery of my ipod touch and now my laptop battery is nearly dead. My battery is definitely on low so I am trying to go back to sleep now. Hope you have a lovely day and take good care of yourself

Morning Diddle

I know what you mean. I usually go 7 - 10 days on 2ish hours sleep then sleep for between 12 and 14 hours in one go (well aside from the odd trip to the loo!!) but never feel any better for it. I actually feel like I've been run over after such a long sleep because I've not moved about enough and everything hurts. But I went to the doctor on Monday and he has upped my anti-depressants, Venlofaxine, to 225mg from 150mg as I was still finding I was feeling really down. Well the first day I took the new dose, within about 3 hours they hit me, I started spinning (not literally but my head) and had to go to bed. Had a really good sleep that night but am still trying to work out the best time to take it as if I have appointments the next day, I need to be awake. I know GPs don't like giving sleeping tablets long term and although the ones I was on were good, Zopiclone, they left me with a disgusting metallic taste. But the Venlofaxine are great for a decent night's sleep. I actually took a 150mg last night as we are going out today and I knew that I would need to be up by 9 - haha - it was actually 445 when I got up, have tossed and turned all night, what with the heat and the pain, but at least I feel fairly bright and am able to drive. God I'm rambling, but I hope you get what I mean.

Oh and the pain management clinic have also increased my pain patches so am just starting with the higher dose, fingers crossed they work. Only problem is, I now have to wear 2 patches on my arm, so any thought of getting these bingo wings out in a vest top are gone as the patches don't stick to me so have to smother them in tape....... attractive!! lol

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your day as it looks like it is going to be a lovely one.

Gentle Hugs JT
