can i get a free wheelchair or will i have to buy my own does anybody know i love in stockport.

Hi, i have just had an appointment to order a free wheelchair, and i had to wait about 3 months after being referred, ask your GP to refer you, but hurry because the lady who ordered my wheelchair said after July there would be no more free ones in my area, except for severely disabled people who use them all the time, i think it may vary for different councils ??, but with all the cut backs i think all councils will follow ? Not sure how it works.
