some good news for once ,just heard I have been award pip not sure what level yet . I first applied back in June finally had telephone interview about 3 weeks ago , I really was dreading it as I had read and been told how awful it can be ,but the person was pleasant and kind , it’s not easy giving very personal information to a stranger on the phone . They said I would be contacted in 2 weeks with outcome had text to say another 8 weeks following day but to my surprise had a call from DWP to check ID and text 2 hours later to say awarded PIP letter to follow .

Congratulations you can always ring the pip enquiry line and ask about award and how long it lasts . Its a long process to get pip but ounce you get award it makes it easier to do review if you also ask for copy of your assessment so you can see what you got points for and if you had all information put down you gave . I also got review assessment results back after a year waiting
