Difficulty in getting referrals

I too have have all the same symptoms apart from the tongue one, my left leg has now got a rash at the top which is very painful and spreading, I had to insist on a referral from my doctor, he has referred me to a dermatologist, I have asked several times if this could be down to nerve damage but was told there is no such thing, I suffer severe pain in my right leg that waves of pain go doen to my calf, this happens everyday and last night I was unable to sleep due to pain, I need to establish if the pain is related to neurological damage but cannot get a referral, in desperation we are considering paying privately, not that we really have the funds but I am in constant pain, I have also been referred to the pain clinic.
