What are the best treatment options out there for Fibromyalgia?

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired basically, and I've tried pretty much everything.

I'm hoping to get ideas for what or who to try next?

not meaning to be trite but it is the one that works for you. Room of 10 people, and 3 drugs, and you can divide the room in 3 with one person having nothing working for them.

May help if you say what you have tried and I have yet to find someone that has tried everything :)

We can only tell you what we do which may not suit you set of symptoms so just check out if it is safe for you to try anything new Lucy 😁 I personally was in a right mess but I manage well now through good food and nutribullet juices and no meds but someone with chromes or diabetes wouldn't benefit from the same regime. There are great people on this site with lots of advice so carefully cherry pick the ones that would help you 🥰

Hi Lucyloo - yup, we all know that feeling... But not sure what you're asking and what your symptoms "sick" and "tired" exactly mean (cos that's crucial to find appropriate ideas): You'll have tried the "best" treatment options already... - as if there were any.... ;-) There are so many ideas... Is there anything new & viable here for you?:

I think I'm one of the persons who may have really "tried it all" - "only" 7 meds (don't tolerate them), but 20+ sorts of physiotherapy (to get local pains down and keep fit), "20+" sorts of diet, some essential oils, 50+ supps/herbs, symptom analyzing & trigger hunting and adapting everything (= 30+ things) in my environment, making sure with 50+ docs that everything else is under control (which it is now), 5+ types of relaxation, and psychotherapy to make sure I stay happy.

So how go about the next steps? I made a long list of all treatments (doc suggestions mostly harmed, none helped; friend and forum suggestions were better), sorted in categories, prioritized what I feel might be best for me or sensible or medically evidenced, and worked down it, ticked them all off, often revisiting. Some things helped a while first, took me to another level, a lot harmed a bit, but certain things that help me probably don't seem helpful to others. All local pains are down, I have a much higher quality of life and a feeling of self-efficacy, but my activity level is still only 40% of pre-fibro, that's a limit I have to accept and live with, keeping/adapting to the sweet spots, whilst still trying what may still crop up.... It's a strange feeling after 2 years really having tried everything and not finding anything new to work on any more, even tho I've had to go pretty far off the beaten track... I thought I'd then concentrate on even more studies, but have seen there's nothing new for me there either; thought there were websites like living smarter or health rising which can increase my alternatives, but same there.... What's staying are 20+ supps (esp. 5 amino acids & passiflora), plus very short but regular stints of physio (stretching, yoga) & relaxation exercises for 2-3h/day. Trying a massage pistol/gun myself instead of at the PT now.

We understand that there are days when it all gets too much and sometimes you feel what can I do next to at least help myself with this condition , not sure what you have tried in the way of meds ? Trial and error we seem to say and some of us find medication that can help us on a daily basis, it might well be that we can damper down the symptom’s each day in order to cope be it meds or pacing method throughout the day, (something that works for me) I do hope you can move forward gradually and talking here helps alittle .x
