I've been suffering with depression and complex ptsd since last year, I have been suffering with such strong pain in my back of my Pelvis and my left side of my hip, I have had a mri scan which says I have a tarlov cyst and dehydrated bone but because it's not on the nerve nothing can be done until I see the rheumatologist next month.
Along with all.that I have pains in my arms and severe brain fog which is ever so frustrating.
Someone has suggested fibromyagia of which I brought to the attention of my gp but he said he does not like to diagnose this.
Any suggestions or advice please as I feel as though I'm 90 though only 47
Hi. I'm guessing the reason that your doctor doesn't like to diagnose Fibromyalgia is because they need to rule everything else out first. Better safe than sorry. Regarding the brain fog, it is very frustrating but I try to see the funny side of it as I do say some unbelievably daft things sometimes. Just last night, I was trying to say that there were these men from Somalia up at the shops.....and I actually said 'there were these men from Somalia upstairs'!!! My kids and partner looked at me like I was insane and I got the fits of giggles as it sounded so wrong. I do it all the time and can't find the words I'm looking for but I just laugh at myself and make words up instead! 😂 I hope you get some help from the rheumatologist. Mine was lovely. 😊
