Morning all!

Has anyone had a Paper hearing for a PIP Tribunal and been successful?

Having waited for over a year for a hearing, and then be told i couldn’t attend in person, is so fustrating!

They’ve made a decision already… awaiting the letter in the post.

Thanks

Yes my appeal was paper based and my daily living went from nothing to Enhanced. Capita and DWP both apologised too for the poor assessment that had ignored all of my DLA records, and Capita paid me £250 compensation. The Tribunal gave me 4 years on a double enhanced Award. It expired last year and DWP awarded me a double enhanced award for ten years, again a paper based assessment. No Capita involvement this time at all.

Wow! Hearing that brings me a glimmer of hope! I’ve been so traumatised by Oral hearings, and it just so happens that this time it was going to be based on Medical Evidence alone!

I’ve given GP’s, Physio’s, Consultant’s, letters..

i don’t think that alone will do the job but let’s wait and see what the decision will be…

I’m just so anxious… 😫

I indeed went through similar some time ago twice. I won the appeal but would not put me in the support group so no financial support.
