Took my Dr in the united states at least 2 years to find out what I had. Constant pain every day is certainly not normal

Hi there, i see this is your first post so let me wish a warm welcome to the group 😊

Well here in the UK it took me 10 years to get a diagnoses. So I would say yours was quite fast lol

But seriously, imo if you have a good doctor the diagnoses can take quite a time. They have to rule all other possibilities out and that can take time.

I see you've left your post unlocked to this community only for privacy reasons you may want to lock it.

Hello and welcome, yes it does seem to vary , when I actually got an appointment with a new doctor it took around 6 months after eliminating every thing else and blood tests, the diagnosis of CFS took longer as both conditions are very similar, I hope you find the forum helpful and reading posts xx
