Anybody tried brain rewiring practice using the neuroplasticity practice, CBT or the way we think about the condition all the time?

I've tried quite a few of the things suggested in the article, including transcranial magnetic stimulation, non of them helped me I'm afraid.

Hello T212. All very interesting and I did go on a course based on neuroplasticity run by Phil Parker under The Lightening Process.

Nice people but it cost a lot of money. Personally - I didn’t get any benefit. I came to the conclusion you cant think yourself out of fibromyalgia.

It’s one of those ideas that sounds feasible - and when it doesn’t work - you blame yourself for failing.

But of course somebody else might have a different outcome.

I agree, I dont think you can think yourself out of fibro. But I do think you can think yourself into it if that makes sense lol

But I also think that can be said of so many chronic long term illnesses. That's just my personal opion xx

Many thanks, yes, someone recommended LP, saying they can fit your budget? yeah, I'm worry if didn't work out, I will blame myself

Not sure if you're asking that too, but CBT as well as pain management has been shown to be pretty effective for fibro ... just the "rewiring" part is a bit over the top... ;-)
