What do people here know about grounding one's self?

My friend has a "grounding" mat. And the whole theory behind the mat and electrons is fascinating and makes a lot of sense amongsxt a lot of confusion?

you can search on previous posts about it but I think of it as pseudoscience hokum but it should not have any negative effects apart from hitting your wallet.

This as been doing the rounds for a number of years. I agree with desquinn keep your money in your pocket. From all the stuff I've read and tests that have been done by people with science degrees etc they say it's complete rubbish. And I'm inclined to agree I'm afraid 😐

Much easier ways to 'ground ' yourself than paying out money, Walking barefoot on grass or soil, sitting with your back against a tree, sitting on the ground and imagining your spine is growing into the earth and 'rooting' you. Meditative music through headphones may help to drown sounds of traffic and other humans while doing this.
