Does anyone take citalopram and nortriptyline.

I wish doctors would treat the actual neuropathy rather than cram you full of antidepressants that are not good for you and cover up the underlying neuropathy.

I have taken Gabapentin for years, I live in the US and so far as I know there are only 2 FDA approved drugs used to treat neuropathy, Gabapentin, which is an anti-seizure medication and Lyrica, which is basically the same thing but with worse side effects.

I have used both of the drugs you mention and they don’t work for me.

Hi, I take nortriptyline at night, it helps with night time pain and sleep. I’ve had it for years with no problems.

Sorry I haven’t been on here for a while and have just seen your reply. No I don’t take citalopram
