Wearable Neurotechnology

I'm new here but reaching out to let people know about something which is going to be a health and wellness game changer. There is evidence based science behind natural pain management by achieving brain homeostasis. I got interested because of my own health issues which got me really depressed. I'm now so much better that I can play with the grandkids and go out dancing again - without pain! There are literally thousands of testimonials on Facebook and Youtube from real people just like me. If you're interested in more info just get in touch. I'm based in London UK but we are all one world when we can help one another.

"Rolls Royce makes the best family car ever" would be a testimonial that may not be taken at face value but it is one just the same. Testimonials are great when you are buying a product like a car and you identify with the giver of the testimony. Unpicking testimonials takes time and they are often used with very little relation to honesty but people do not have time to unpick them.

Number of testimonials are not a fair indication of anything and when it comes to something that relates to health then evidence base and clinical trials are the credit that we need to judge things. We know so little about the brain in relative terms and perhaps how things work with a neurotypical will be different than those that are not.

Really there are more questions than answers.

Thanks for your comment desquinn. It's quite difficult to gauge how much to include in a post but now that the discussion has begun I am happy to share more.

There are white papers which prove that the tech triggers responses in the brain stem that aaffect balance, strength, mobility and pain management.

4files.at/neurosocks/studie... (p12 onwards)

There is also the extensive brain mapping evidence by chiropracter Dr Mark DeBrincat which shows the neurological functioning of the brain when in contact with the tech. However you are quite right in thinking that there is no one size fits all response because each person's neurological responses will be different.

This product is something worth thinking about because it is non-invasive, without chemicals, drugs electricals or magnets, age safe, pregnancy safe and easy to use because the tech is in socks, insoles and 24hour patches. When you read the inserts in EVERY medication, the list of possible side effects is as long as your arm! With this technology, your own body will respond to the signals received by your brain stem.

The testimonials are from people with so many conditions where enhanced neurology has shown an effect on their quality of life. Some people may find such 'reviews' helpful because this tech has only been available to the public since 2nd January and I doubt if many people have heard about it.

Wouldn't you agree that if we can be empowered with information, more options are opened up -including helping ourselves?

to downplay medication with side effect information that is quantified from clinical trials and full reporting yet putting this bit of tech on your brain that works somehow and will have no negative effects while making your non specific condition better seems disingenuous at best.

As there are differences between hip pain, adhd, and numbness from taped cleats not fitting properly and fibromyalgia are profound. Clinical trials evidence in neuropathic pain in feet is more on point from that article but the pain is all over and also you would need a replicated trial on patients with fibro before anybody should consider this.

If it is ineffective then it should have no negative effects on your neurology potentially but if it is effective in some way then it is always going to be potentially negative for some.

do you represent the company by any chance?

With all due respect, desquinn, I am surprised that you have chosen to interpret my post in such a cynical manner. No amount of clinical trials will be able to tell an individual which, if any, side effects they may experience from taking their medication. No scientist on this earth can tell you how a drug combination will affect YOU in the short or long term. No medication works for 100% of the population all the time, every time. Who is being disingenuos now?

I am not dismissing clinical trials but let's be real. Pain is pain and individuals need to find what works for them as this is often the most distressing manifestation of their condition. What about magnesium baths, drinking alkaline water or meditation? Should we dismiss them as helpful coping mechanisms until we see the clinical trials on patients with fibro?

I am not representing anyone but myself on this forum. I have tried something and it worked, so I have something to share: knowledge!! It is obviously not for you at this moment in time but let the grown folk decide for themselves!

This grown up person happens to be a trustee of this charity and is very interested in evidence based information. A new poster with the company logo as their profile pic, no profile info and advancing a product as their first post does set the scene for cynics like me. However, I still have a semi open mind on most days.

However, to say that something has no ill effects but lambasts the ill effects of medication does concern me further. All natural substances kill every day of the week so we need to be aware of when to be careful.

The use of the word neuro applying to the brain left me surprised when it was socks that were being discussed. But we have to look at things but to have a supported argument of this can do no harm when it is trying to adjust "brain things" is not a good platform. A psychologist will freely admit they can do harm by just talking to people.

I am all for people deciding for themselves but we are very protective of people coming onto our forum and selling products that cost money that people may not have. But when people suggest medical interventions then there should and must be a higher standard than buying a fuse or even a car.

Also I am being skeptical of your motive and the proposed medical intervention but I have not been personal at all.

I have to say straight away that I don't wish to be misinterpreted. I am NOT making any claims of having a medicinal product or that this tech is a substitute for any medication. 'Lambasts' is rather a strong word for pointing out that no-one will know how an individual will respond to medication until they have tried it. I would call that a fact! Similarly, If I were to espouse neurotechnology products as some kind of magic cure that would certainly be enough to raise concerns. Anyone should have the choice to try and find what works FOR THEM. I am pleased that you have at least a semi open mind for yourself but you are also parenting rather than moderating the forum. In fact I challenge you to become fully informed before you pass judgement. There are presentations up and down the country where the tech is explained and I can let you know some dates by private message. Do bring your friends with you (@cathjamesandmatt20 and zoonie) because the info is free. Also, since you have decided that the tech is not affordable (rather patronising to make that judgement on anyone's behalf) you might like to know that there is a 30 day money back guarantee on the products. If people experience no difference after compliance, they will get a refund with no questions asked.

Let's put language like "target" (@zoonie) aside because that gives the impression that I am here to do you all harm! I have been on my own journey which I choose not to describe.

"When you read the inserts in EVERY medication, the list of possible side effects is as long as your arm!" - this is a very pejorative statement that certainly leads more by implication than being explicit but the contra point in the next para is why I thought lambasts was appropriate.

Me going out an d looking at the science of how something works is something that I enjoy but my time is limited and it should not be too much of an expectation that when a new concept that is selling an idea or a product then the onus is on the seller.

I was not talking about affordability at a price point but the fact that people are struggling to feed themselves and are out of work fighting to get benefits and are in a weak position looking for a fox that can get them back into work that will fix their situation. But there are people out there marketing to this demographic with this or that product and this or that food additive and magical claims. £30 may not be much to some but it could be the food budget to someone else. So affordability is subjective but cost in time in energy and hope is also a factor.

But bottom line if it smells like spam, looks like spam.... Then it is probably ...... spam.

A you have a lot of knowledge on this item and B your profile pic is of the socks. No advertising thanks

Just to add that the company have contacted us directly now about the product and offering an affiliation option so we will engage with them. But it does make this look more like a marketing push. Post will probably be removed shortly.
